The matriculation lecture is a routine activity held by the FPP UNDIP Masters of Animal Science Study Program for new students. The activities held prior to the implementation of the regular lecture activities are intended to refresh the memory of new students on several subjects they have studied while studying at the undergraduate level and at the same time provide an overview of existing conditions and facilities (educational and research facilities, especially laboratories). at the faculty. It is hoped that with the provision gained from this matriculation activity, students can more easily adapt to the courses taken while studying at the FPP UNDIP FPP Masters of Animal Science Study Program.
An explanation of the curriculum and courses that must be completed in the Master of Animal Science Study Program FPP UNDIP, as well as research plans, publications and profiles of prospective research advisors and theses were delivered in the matriculation activity by the Chairperson of the Master of Animal Science Study Program FPP UNDIP as an opening. The matriculation course is then filled with five main topics including (1) Genetics and Animal Breeding, (2) Nutrition and Feed Science, (3) General Animal Husbandry Science, (4) Statistics, and (5) Laboratory Engineering and Instrumentation.

Matriculation lectures are held offline, attended by all new students and filled in by coordinating lecturers of existing courses in the FPP UNDIP FPP Masters of Animal Science Study Program. The activity lasts for one week from 7 to 11 August 2023.
