The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture (FPP) at Diponegoro University is committed to empowering smallholder farmers through Good Dairy Farming Practices (GDFP) training. With supporting facilities such as the Dairy Research Center and the Animal Research and Teaching Farm, Undip facilitates in-depth research in production, animal health, and agribusiness.
The Head of the Undip Master of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Dr. Ir. Cahya Setya Utama, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM, stated that the colloquium seminar is a crucial step in ensuring the quality and up-to-dateness of students’ research before entering the field. “Discussions between students and examining lecturers are expected to provide constructive input on research concepts and methods, so that the final results truly provide solutions to livestock problems in the community,” he said. Through this research, he hopes to improve national milk quality standards and improve the lives of smallholder farmers in Indonesia.
