The Master of Animal Science Study Program at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences at UNDIP was established based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 179/DIKTI/Kep/1999, and has been accepting students since the 1999/2000 academic year. Currently, it offers four concentrations:
- Animal Production
- Animal Nutrition and Feed Science
- Animal Product Technology
- Animal Science Development Planning
The Master of Animal Science Study Program at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences at UNDIP focuses on developing tropical livestock in Indonesia through the development of human resources in animal science and the sustainable use of local livestock resources.
The program offers several academic tracks:
- Master by Course 1 (for general prospective students
- Master by Course 2 (for students who graduated from UNDIP’s Bachelor’s of Animal Science Study Program within the last 3 years and are applying to the Master of Animal Science Study Program at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences at UNDIP)
- Fast Track Program (students complete their Bachelor’s and Master’s studies concurrently in 5 years)
- Master by Research Program (students only conduct research and scientific publications during their studies)
