Being a guest lecturer is one form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education carried out by lecturers. In terms of inviting universities, students at these universities receive different learning material and are presented in a more refreshing context. Guest lecturers usually have special competencies and in-depth understanding and knowledge in certain fields of science. In terms of the lecturers who are invited, the guest lecturers will get many benefits, including being able to share knowledge and experience with other students, gain experience and build wider relationships, be known more widely by the academic community and be a means of promotion for the institution or university of origin.
On November 13 2023, Prof. Sugiharto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D. who is a permanent lecturer at the Master of Animal Science Study Program, FPP UNDIP, was invited by the Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University Samarinda to give a guest lecture to students of the Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University Samarinda. Taking place in the Integrated Laboratory Hall of Mulawarman University, the guest lecturer lecture activity was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University Samarinda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Rusdiansyah, M.Sc. Apart from being attended by students, the guest lecturer’s lecture with the title “Nutritive Interventions to Improve Broiler Chicken Productivity After the Ban on Antibiotics as Feed Additives” was also attended by lecturers at the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University.
