Publication of scientific papers is one of the requirements that must be fulfilled by Postgraduate students before taking the final exam and obtaining an academic degree. Writing a publication is not easy, especially for a student. It takes practice, patience, persistence and sufficient time to be able to focus on completing the manuscript so that it can be submitted to a scientific journal.
In the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture UNDIP, actually the “graduation requirement” for students is simply to publish scientific papers in SINTA indexed national journals. However, study program managers always encourage students to be able to publish their scientific work in reputable international journals (Scopus indexed) so that students have experience and traces of research on an international scale.
Not only encouraging students to publish in Scopus indexed international journals, the UNDIP Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture Master Study Program also provides assistance to students who are writing or preparing manuscripts for international publication. In addition, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UNDIP also regularly organizes “Clinical Manuscript Training and International Publication Submissions” for lecturers and Postgraduate students within UNDIP. Activities are filled with training or workshops on writing articles intended for publication in reputable international journals.
Recently the “Manuscript Clinical Training and International Publication Submission” event was held at Hotel Atria Jl. Gen. Sudirman No.42, Kota Magelang, taking place from 22 – 24 June 2023. For postgraduate students, this activity will greatly assist them in preparing and submitting articles to reputable international journals.
