To improve the quality of research in the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University, collaboration with various parties, especially with research institutions, is very important to implement. One of the leading research institutions in Indonesia is the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). BRIN is a non-ministerial government agency that is under and responsible to the President of Indonesia through the minister in charge of government affairs in the fields of research and technology.
Recently the Head of the MIT FPP UNDIP Masters Program held a meeting with the Head of the BRIN Animal Husbandry Research Center, Dr. Tri Puji Priyatno, and his staff at the BRIN Cibinong office. The meeting was a technical meeting regarding the details of joint research and mentoring activities between the MIT FPP UNDIP Masters Program and BRIN for several students, especially international students who would conduct research at BRIN. A number of nine international students will carry out their research activities in several laboratories owned by BRIN with research funds fully borne by BRIN.
Guidance for theses and scientific publications is carried out jointly between the MIT FPP UNDIP Masters Study Program and BRIN. In the future, more intensive research collaboration is expected to be further enhanced to improve the quality of research and scientific publications between the two parties.
