On Tuesday 7 February 2023, the Journal of the Indonesian Tropical Animal Agriculture (JITAA) team fulfilled an invitation from the Journal of Applied Animal Husbandry Sciences (JIPT) at the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) to Improve Journal Management Toward Sinta 1 Accreditation or Scopus Index at the Jember State Polytechnic. The FGD was organized by the management of JIPT as one of the initiatives of the management of the scientific journal to improve the quality and accreditation of the journal. Currently, JIPT is SINTA 3 accredited, and in the future the management hopes that JIPT can be SINTA 1 accredited or Scopus indexed.
As one of the scientific journals in the field of animal husbandry that has been accredited by SINTA 1 and indexed by Scopus, JITAA on the occasion of the FGD shared experiences and tips for improving the quality of journals and accreditation. In addition, the JITAA Team consisting of Prof. Joelal Achmadi, Prof. Agung Purnomoadi, Dr. Sugiharto, Dr. Asep Setiaji and Dr. Ari Prima also shared his experience regarding manuscript writing techniques so that they could be published in Scopus indexed international journals.
