Publication of scientific papers in scientific journals or indexed proceedings is one of the requirements for masters students before the thesis trial. To be able to write scientific articles, scientific data is an absolute necessity, so research is of course a necessity for Masters students. Actually, not only to fulfill obligations before the thesis hearing, scientific publications in reputable journals are a matter of pride and at the same time the most effective effort for Master’s graduates to train themselves so that later they can take part optimally in the academic world, research and science in general.

Recently, S2 students of Master of Animal Science Study Program, FPP Undip, succeeded in publishing their research results in Scopus indexed international journals. Among them are Anugrah Robby Pratama who succeeded in publishing the results of his research in the Tropical Animal Science Journal (indexed Scopus, Q3) with the title “Blood and Intestine Profile of Broilers Fed Averrhoa bilimbi Fruit, Wheat Bran, and Yeast Blends”, Oktavia Munita in the journal Livestock Research for Rural Development (indexed by Scopus, Q3) with the title “Unripe banana meal vs. Lactobacillus casei-fermented unripe banana meal: Which are better as feed ingredient for broiler chicken?”, Muhammad Khairul Riza in the journal Advances in Animal and Veterinary Sciences (Scopus indexed, Q3) with the title “Carcass and Meat Characteristics of Broilers Stocked at a High Density and Supplemented with Acidified Turmeric”, S.D. Pawesti in the journal Journal of the Indonesian Tropical Animal Agriculture (indexed Scopus, Q3) with the title “Performance, carcass and meat quality of broilers raised at a high stocking density and supplemented with encapsulated Cosmos caudatus K. leaf extract”. Previously there was also Fitri Dwi Astuti who succeeded in publishing his work in the journal Veterinary Word (indexed Scopus, Q2) with the title “Growth performance, blood variables, intestinal bacterial content, and morphological measurements of broilers supplemented with Lactobacillus casei-fermented mixture of red rice and aromatic ginger” and Ikania Agustianingsih in the journal Annals of Animal Science (indexed Scopus, Q2) with the title “Effect of encapsulated Cosmos caudatus leaf extract on the physiological conditions, immune competency, and antioxidative status of broilers at high stocking density”. In fact, there are many other students from Master of Animal Science Study Program, FPP Undip who have succeeded in publishing their scientific works in reputable international journals.
