The collaboration between Diponegoro University, especially the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, has been established for a long time. Various activities have been carried out together, involving both parties in accordance with the signed MoU. One area of cooperation that is very intensively carried out is educational activities. In terms of educational cooperation, the Ministry of Agriculture regularly sends students to study for both Masters and Doctoral degrees from various agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture to the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University. Several teaching staff from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University also had the opportunity to give public lectures to students and lecturers at several Agricultural Development Polytechnics (Polbangtan) which are educational institutions (specifically agricultural education in a broad sense) under the Ministry of Agriculture.
Lastly, Sugiharto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D. who is the Head of the Master’s Degree Study Program in Animal Science, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University delivered a public lecture entitled “Manuscript Preparation for Publication in Scientific Journals” at the Agricultural Development Polytechnic (Polbangtan) Malang, East Java. The public lecture on September 27, 2022 began with the presentation of material by resource persons and continued with a workshop on writing scientific articles to produce scientific articles that are ready to be submitted to scientific journals both nationally and internationally.
The general lectures and workshops were attended by all lecturers at the Malang Agricultural Development Polytechnic (Polbangtan) and lasted from 08.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB. The Polbangtan Malang party hopes that this kind of activity can provide enlightenment and motivation to all lecturers in the Polbangtan Malang environment to be able to publish the results of their research in scientific journals. It is also hoped that the results of research from lecturers at Polbangtan Malang can be used as learning materials and counseling materials for Polbangtan Malang students to farming communities and breeders within the scope of work of Polbangtan Malang.
