As one of the leading research universities in Indonesia and even the world, Diponegoro University (UNDIP) is committed to strengthening and upgrading laboratories to support research and education activities at UNDIP. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture UNDIP also carried out laboratory strengthening and updating. With the vision of becoming a center of excellence for the development and research of tropical livestock and agriculture, strengthening and upgrading of laboratories within the UNDIP Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture is very relevant. It is hoped that laboratories with international standards can provide maximum support for world-class research activities for lecturers and students within the Faculty, and can provide optimal academic services (practicum activities) for students who are studying at the UNDIP Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture.
Not only updated and equipped lab tools, laboratory technicians who are responsible for laboratory activities also have their abilities upgraded in operating these tools and managing the laboratory in general. In the future, updating the existing laboratories at the UNDIP Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture is also expected to be able to provide laboratory services to the wider community so that they can support revenue generating activities (RGA) for the Faculties and Universities.
The Master of Animal Science is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture UNDIP which is committed to becoming a center of excellence for the development of tropical livestock science and technology. The existence of a world-class laboratory is very helpful in realizing these ideals. It is also hoped that graduates of the Master of Animal Science in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture UNDIP will be familiar and have sufficient experience in research and using the latest laboratory equipment. This experience is very useful in supporting future careers, especially for graduates who work as academic staff and researchers.
