As a follow-up to the collaboration between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University and the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University Thailand, one of the lecturers from the Animal Husbandry Masters Study Program, FPP UNDIP gave a lecture to students of the Animal Husbandry Masters Study Program, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University Thailand. The visiting lecture activity with the title “Genetic Parameters and their Use in Animal Breeding: Optimizing Livestock Improvement” was held online via Zoom meeting on September 12 2023.
In his presentation, Dr. Asep Setiaji, lecturer and alumni of the UNDIP FPP Animal Science Master’s Study Program, conveyed the importance of breeding programs to maximize livestock productivity. The visiting lecture activity carried out by the academic community of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, UNDIP, is expected to improve UNDIP’s reputation in the international arena and at the same time contribute to the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for faculties and universities.
In the future, collaboration with various foreign universities, especially with the world’s best universities, will be further intensified so that UNDIP’s reputation as a world-class research university and university becomes even stronger.
